Just for you guys, phone fixed at a cost of £79, warranty didn't cover it because of the amount of damage to the screen or some bullshit Muggy

Laugh seriously though I dropped my old HTC's a ridiculous number of times and it never got a scratch, one drop of the new iPhone and it practically fell to pieces. Scamming cunts.

Never broke my phone's screen in the best part of two decades of having mobiles. Never owned an iphone either, coincidentally.

Have you considering not dropping it?

Same. Never lost one either. Except when I lost it twice during my second year freshers week. Awkward phone call with the insurers when I had to make 2 claims in 48 hours.

Never lost one - except the twice you lost one? Seems legit Special

I've cracked a couple of screens in my time and had my phone stolen twice, all occasions aside from the most recent theft as the result of drunken high jinx. Easy come easy go Cool

My phone got ran over by a car a few months back. Muggy

Still works, but with a completely fucked up screen. Haven't bothered having it fixed.

Had the same phone since 2009 and it's still going strong.

It was an anomaly, I don't count it. Just remembered I've lost another one. Take back my claim.

You're a king among insects, Roger. Never lost a phone, so long as you discount the 3 times you lost one Laugh

I'm fairly certain I lost a phone in a taxi once - I say lost, the taxi driver drove off with it. Laugh In fairness to him, it is a possibility that I gave him it as collateral, went in the house to get money to pay him and then forgot all about him and fell asleep. Special Still a thieving gypsy cunt Cool

Hassle me for misremembering and here you're only "fairly certain" you lost one in a taxi. Dick.

Smug

When I say 'fairly certain', I was using that as an opener to the big reveal that, in fact, the taxi driver had stolen it.

You're getting your hassle for sneering at folk for doing something you've been guilty of yourself Laugh

Indicates massive self-loathing issues IMO Cool

I've been contacted about a job on LinkedIn.

I messaged back saying I'm quite happy where I am but to keep in touch about future opportunities.

She sent me a message back saying she'll send the role profile just in case I wanted to take a look.

Is it out of line for me to go back and ask pretty bluntly about the salary? I'm not really interested unless it's above a certain amount...

Nope, they're chasing you. There's maybe a way to do it more tactfully though, rather than just come straight out with it.
