Tbf I actually said something quite similar in the past after seeing the Louis Theroux documentary about folk who were open about liking kids but would seek help so they didn't act on it. Think it's a bit of a lost cause tho, you're no going to get people being sympathetic towards folk who want to shag kids whether they act on it or not.

A wee fun fact for you, a Scotsman Robert Fortune is to credit for the British empire getting their hands on tea.  At the time it was really hard to get into mainland China but he managed to disguise himself and infiltrate the best tea farms and brought seeds and plants back so we could grow it in India.
