Aye that's her, still kicking about?

And the Purple-Monkey-Dishwasher part was that he was running from the police after he raped someone.

He was another I was going to mention. He lived in Newhaven when I was growing up, drank in the Prom. We used to terrorise him as kids to get a chase off him. Shocking to be honest. For some reason singing flower of scotland would set him off so that's what we always did.

I last saw her outside St. James Centre years ago. Felt sorry for her but in normal clothes and no make up and she'd get much less attention.

The Leith dwellers will have bumped into Mandy. Some woman. Nothing better than getting a bus into town during the festival and watching the tourists' reaction as she got on.

Honestly can't stop reading stuff Peter Hitchens has written. Here he makes it sound like you have to hunt the length and breadth of Britain to get a bourbon or a packet of Rich Tea  Zlat

Quote:In general, the British biscuit habit has gone the way of the old British teatime, wiped from our lives by the conscription of young mothers into the paid workforce and the resulting emptying of British homes between breakfast and dinner. The vast biscuit factories, which once used to sprawl for what seemed like miles along the railway line at Reading, on the main Western route out of London, have vanished, along with the Empire whose custard cream needs they once supplied in large ornate tins built to survive long colonial sea voyages. And not just custard creams but digestives, arrowroot, rich tea, bourbon creams, a whole world of obsolete pleasure. Limited supplies are still made somewhere or other, but they are fading from our lives.

It's like he's been transported in from the late 19th century.

There's an Orwell essay about the demise of traditional English cooking. Where has all the suet gone, sums it up.

I can only hope he's playing around with that.

'Supplying the Empire's custard cream needs' might be my favourite colonial apologia yet Heh

Edit: got a few lines into the actual article - he says he only ever has a custard cream after giving blood, then immediately complains that you can't get them any more Warnock Amazing.

My Honda on pcp is due to get picked up shortly and with a return to the office full time / work travel isn't happening anytime soon just picked up a wee 2009 VW Fox as a runaround for the time being, found this CD in the player

Aside from the cringe as the previous owner had it from 2012 so by the time they got rid they were at least 25+ the punctuation is triggering me to fuck

"You are, and always will be, my dream" isn't too bad punctuation-wise though?

Nah it's fine. If you can cut the section in commas and it still makes sense then it's fine. You are my dream. You are, and always will be, my dream. It's how you use parentheses.
