Is the story not that Everton paid up his remaining year and there was no transfer fee after all? Well done Hearts tbf if that's the case. I imagine this lad was on the Allan Campbell list of players and we've got without a fee.

None of us know the lad but I do like what I read. Apart from the injury record. I'm happy with this and will say he's gonna be a decent player for us. Hard tackler, busy, moves the ball on quickly.

I still trust Savage and now Lancefield, but, his first big move was McEneff and I still don't know what we've got in him or where he plays or what he brings.

We still need more in MF and chat over the road is a Leicester player on loan.
