Make sure she’s explicitly aware of what areas to avoid, especially at night.

Yeah, I've since sent her a couple of Reddit links. She was skeptical when her friend initially mentioned it but has now come to the realisation that it's probably not for them. I said it would probably be fine, they'd need to be aware, etc but on the whole it likely wouldn't be a carefree and fancy destination. I've been meaning to get there for a while myself, for the football, and well, the rest takes care of itself.

Hopefully between the three of them they can find somewhere a little less stressful.
