As for your first point. He didn't make them out as anything. He said both were to blame. Which they were.
No antifa present = no riot.
No "alt" right present = no riot.
Neither present = no riot.
Both present = RIOT.
It's incredibly simple and what he said is completely correct. No matter what "side" - if any - you prefer.
